چکیده

Extensive applications of carbon dioxide (CO2) in various fields, such as food industry, agricultural production, medical and pharmacological industries, have caused a great demand for high-performance CO2 sensors. However, most existing sensors suffer from poor performance wet environment often cannot work accurately high humidity condition. In this study, quartz crystal resonator (QCR) coated with uniform layer reduced graphene oxide (RGO) is proposed to detect both the concentrations water molecules simultaneously, which can be used significantly minimize interference. Unlike other common gas sensors, RGO-based QCR sensor operated different levels concentration quantified precisely effectively. Moreover, it has fast response (?0.4 s), also suitable respiration monitoring. Our results showed that before after volunteer did low-intensity exercise, could differences exhaled breath (i.e., 4.50 % 5.15 %, respectively).

TiO2 based surface acoustic wave gas sensor with modified electrode dimensions for enhanced H2 sensing application

The design and optimization of nanostructure-based surface acoustic wave (SAW) gas sensor is analyzed based on TiO2 sensing layer and modified electrode dimensions. The sensitivity of the gas sensor depends upon the type of sensing layer used and active surface area obtained by varying the aspect ratio. The performance of the sensor is observed from 0.1ppm to 100ppm concentration of ...

Optimal Design of a Polyaniline-Coated Surface Acoustic Wave Based Humidity Sensor

This paper presents an optimal design for a new humidity sensor composed of a dual-resonator oscillator configuration with an operation frequency of 300 MHz, and a polyaniline (PANI) coating deposited along the resonation cavity of the sensing device. To improve the corrosion resistance of the sensor chip, Al/Au electrodes were used to form the SAW resonator. Prior to device fabrication, the co...

Optical fiber humidity sensor based on evanescent-wave scattering.

The phenomenon of evanescent-wave scattering (EWS) is used to design an optical-fiber humidity sensor. Porous solgel silica (PSGS) coated on the surface of a silica optical-fiber core scatters evanescent waves that penetrate the coating layer. Water molecules in the gas phase surrounding the optical fiber can be absorbed into the inner surface of the pores of the porous silica. The absorbed wat...

A surface acoustic wave ICP sensor with good temperature stability.

BACKGROUND Intracranial pressure (ICP) monitoring is very important for assessing and monitoring hydrocephalus, head trauma and hypertension patients, which could lead to elevated ICP or even devastating neurological damage. The mortality rate due to these diseases could be reduced through ICP monitoring, because precautions can be taken against the brain damage. OBJECTIVE This paper presents...
